Morgan, GB setter will be plying her trade in Sweden next year
GB setter Joanne Morgan will head off to the land of Abba later this month to join her new club, Gislaved, for the coming season. The team play in the Elite Series League, the top division of Swedish Volleyball.
Putting her career as a Civil Engineer on hold, Jo has decided that the time is right for her to play professionally in Europe. Waiting has been the Name of the Game after signing for the club in early July, but Morgan is eager to get going with her new team:
“This is the ideal opportunity for me to improve. The team have their sights set on being top of the league. I will be playing lots of matches in an ambitious team, at a high standard which is exactly what I need”
